Inaugural Newtown Wine Walk to Benefit Historic Newtown Theatre

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Sip, shop and support the historic Newtown Theatre at the inaugural Newtown Wine Walk on Saturday, May 17 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. This festive event is sponsored by Attleboro Wealth Management and all proceeds benefit the Newtown Theatre.   

During this event, which is modeled after the successful Newtown Holiday Cocktail Trail, ticket holders will enjoy sampling at least 20 different wines at a wide variety of Newtown Borough shops.  

The Walk will begin at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State Street, where ticketholders will pick up their Walk “passport,” and a goodie bag. The passport will list each stop on the Walk and any promotions the shops are offering that day. Passports will also highlight Borough restaurants, which participants are encouraged to patronize while traversing the Walk.

“Tickets for the Newtown Wine Walk make for a great Mother’s Day gift!” said Andrew Smith, executive director of the Newtown Theatre. “We expect this event to quickly become a spring tradition and be just as fun and festive as the popular Holiday Cocktail Trail.” 

A limited number of tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $50 per person. All participants must be 21+ to purchase tickets and participate in the Wine Walk.
